 ÖZ

Pontus-Rum meselesi, Lozan Anlaşması ile beraber tarihe mal olmuştur. Ancak, Yunanistan meseleyi suni olarak tekrar canlandırmaya çalışmakta ve sözde “Pontus soykırımı iddiaları” ile 1985 yılından günümüze kadar devam eden süreçte ısrarlı bir biçimde gündem bulmaya çalışmaktadır.

Pontusçuluk faaliyetleri, Türkiye Cumhuriyeti’nin ulusal-üniter devlet yapısını hedef alan iddia ve tezler içermektedir. Bu iddia ve tezler, tarihsel belleğin yeniden inşa edilmesine hizmet etmek üzere sosyo-kültürel unsurlar aracılığıyla kurgulanmaktadır. Bu çalışmada; kimlik, aidiyet, toplumsal hafıza, göç, terk edilen vatan, geri dönüş, paylaşılmış travma vb. söylemler ile yeniden gündem bulan Pontus meselesi, gerek uluslararası ilişkiler açısından gerekse yazınsal ve görsel medyada yer aldığı şekliyle ele alınacaktır.

ABSTRACT

The Pontos-Rum issue with the Treaty of Lausaane has an important part in the history. However, Greece tries to aritificially arouse the issue again. So-called “Pontos-Rum Genocide” has been trying to find an agenda persistently since 1985.

The Pontus activities include claims and dissertations targeting at the national-unitary structure of the Turkish Republic. These claims and dissertations are fictionalized in order to serve for reconstructing historical memory via socio-cultural elements. In this article, the revived Pontus issue with the discourses like identity, belonging, collective memory, migration, homeland abandonment, repatriation, shared trauma and such that, will be considered from the view of international relations as well as the form it stands in the written and visual media.
